Dear friend

 

What you see at the top of the page is a work that Empire Industrial Equipment, Mumbai,  commissioned me to do.  I had to depict the 4 Verticals in which the Company operates. And thereby I could establish myself as a Management Consultant turned Artiste Painter, as a culmination of my 9-year stint with them.

Some of you know me also as a Corporate Trainer of 25 years standing in  Mumbai and Coimbatore.  I retired in 2021 and have turned my attention to my passion. On an average I spend 6 to 8 hours a day painting.  

​

Essentially I am lending expression to an innate gift of sketching that I possessed from childhood -using    colors and imagination.  The inspiration is plentiful - mostly from nature and the internet.

​

I am a self-taught artist.  Within the 2 years that I started painting, I am told that I have breached several paradigms and boundaries.  Simply because I did not know that they existed.  You can't have missed the hidden message in this.

​

Through the above process, I could evolve as a painter.  I only use water colors on special paper like "Canson" or similar.  However, in the page titled "Configurations" you will see my work of water color on canvas.  I don't like to be boxed in, so my choice of subjects has been eclectic.  Thereby, you have a wider range to choose from.  

 

And if i am not painting, I am travelling.
